What a hectic night it has been! The moment i take my report, it took 1 whole hour to pass 10 oncology patients. So many things to do at a given time. Been busy giving the cocktail of IV antibiotics and colourful chemotherapy the whole of the night.

Settled all my I/O entry at 4am. Which i usually will do b4 12MN. Then again, my 5AM IV's cocktail of antibiotics start again, all the way til 7am. Really hectic! In between i have to wake patient up to pass urine because their cumulative balance is way exceed their limit....

blah blah blah... reluctant to wake up and head for my 2nd night. We forsee there will be no discharges in the day, and the number of onco patients shall remain. Like so hectic lor. The amount of workload will not be evenly distributed, because there's rm 24.. somehow, at some point of the time, she needs 1 to 1 nursing care.

Yesterday they asked me to take charge of rm 24, Im hesitating. I'm sneezing, and coughing away. Her immunity is low, it is unfair to her. Hence, i rejected.

Reluctant to head for my 2nd night. Argh*

Come to think about it, I really do admire the courage and strength all my lil angels possessed. They are stronger than anyone of us! They pulled through the tough chemotherapy regime, the tedious treatment, the lousy side effects, and they are fighting for survival. They are a bunch of angels who value life more than anyone.

Of course, the mortality VS. the prognosis is very clear cut, and yet, they are willing to fight for the only chance, to diminish the monstrous cancerous cells in their body!

I always tell him - C.S 你要加油哦!And he will gave out the most handsome smile, with his eyes slightly closed and lips curving up his cheeks. With his most innocent voice he will reply me with "好"..

Sometimes i would gave out a wide smile to him when i walked past, he will in turn smile the way he usually does, quietly observe what i am doing. And when i walked out, i would actually waved a goodbye, and he too does the same back to me. Such innocent smile; He's a fighter!

When Dr C* did an abdominal assessment on him, when she palpate that the tumour in his stomoach is grewing smaller, u should see his father's expression. He's overwhelmed.

I dared not want to think what will happen in the future. Because as such, his diagnosis has the lowest prognosis.

Whatever it may be, i hoped for the best.

Yawnz* Shall head for a short nap before my nightmare begins!

Wen be gone............
