Sleep debt and insomnia became my BFF now !
I was on night shift for the past 2 nights! Ytd i did sleep alot. From 9.30am - 6pm.
Then i head for my night, until this morning, thought i could sleep but i was in bed at 10plus toss and turn and fall asleep only at 11 plus! Then merely 4 hours of sleep Im awake again! ahhhhh...
Im having severe sleep debt can! Tmr i'm working AM again! Oh shucks! This roster of mine is so sucky! Thou i requested working "D" "RD" on saturday and sunday, but i did not request night before that that~ Ahhhh...
Im so lucky that for the 2 days i was break-free from 1-12 in-charge! Phew! For the past 5 days when im there, im damn stressed la, until pimple came popping out! Its quite heavy, parents demanding, coping with admissions.. Im lucky that there are parent's that are nice and understanding ! Appreciate their understanding! =)
One of the very sick patient actually cried in agony and asked me "If i dont care about him anymore, as why do i take so long to answer his call bell.." I was quite shocked in what he asked... "Explained to him that, we are quite busy outside and it takes time to be there for him.." He just knod his head and accepted my answer! Well, i just hope that he will be cleared from the infections and get well soon! This boy just need more TLC. This boy is in his School Age stage with "Industry vs Inferiority" thus need more attention as well as more encouragement to boost up their self-esteem.. hence really more TLC, talk to him..
Well well well, i hope he will get well soon!!
And just dont really understand that why is it that whenever that patient room was alerted for call-bell. Many of them just reluctant to answer it! Just so sick of it.
Boohoooo.. Im craving for ice-cream! The Venecia "Coconut de coco" flavour ! I loved its taste, it taste just so much like "snow" .. hahaa!
