It has been sometime since i blog.
Probably its because i am too lazy to blog; too lazy to jot down the lil thoughts for the day!
It has been an emotion turmoil these few days. Of cause definitely feeling much better than before. I've got the greatest surprise on saturday when darling suddenly popped up in my room. It was my post night and i had just woke up from my sleep in the late afternoon. I was reading the newspaper then, when suddenly a very familiar face just popped up in front of me. Cant contain the excitement and i just hugged my darling so tight. =) Grinning so wide! Spent the shortest time together; the quality time that both of us treasure so much. Spent great time with his family. Chatting with his dad and the possibilty of striking. =) So much so much..
Am glad that everything is inching towards a positive manner. Didn't had a opportunity to chat with his sis.. but hopefully there will be a time..
Missing my tasmania so much so much la!
Fret not, we're gonna see each other soon. In just about 4 days, 96 hours. I'm just so anticipated...
Love you !
AM shift today! Have been nursing the HaemOnco side so often! I am more than happy! However it's just so sad to know their prognosis of their illness. The malignancy and the benign cells battling with the Chemotherapy as well as their own immunity. Its just so sad to see this small little boy gets weaker and the cells turned rare maligancy that attacked the lymphoma.
In another case, when there's a relaspe of cancerous cells. When palliative comes into the picture.
All in all.. the psychological process of these growing up school - age children.. as well as their caregivers.. they never give up !
Something i felt deep within when i am nursing all these sick lil ones today! The torment the child and the care-giver go through.. we can never know; unless we're in their shoes!
